The Macedonian Centre for European Training has laid down the following goals and objectives that need to be implemented in the course of meeting its Mission:
  1. Improving the knowledge and know-how of governmental and nongovernmental organizations, commercial entities and media on EU related issues in general, by means of:
    • Organising and delivering appropriate EU training programmes and campaigns;
    • Providing access to information related to EU issues;
    • Collection and dissemination of publications, articles, comparative studies and other published material on EU related issues.
  2. Capacity building and strengthening of public administration for the purpose of more effective implementation of the European integration process, by means of:
    • Supporting the overall process of integration by providing expertise, comparative studies and experience, strategic input, and delivering tailor-made training modules for civil servants.
  3. Promoting regional cooperation directed toward EU membership by means of:
    • EUTRAINNET - a Regional Network of Trainers from South-East Europe focusing on EU related issues;
    • Organizing study visits in the countries from the region;
    • Establishing cooperation with foreign institutions and organisations from EU Member-States for the purpose of implementing joint projects and programmes;
    • Analysing and promoting the instruments of regional cooperation between the countries involved in the process of Stabilisation and Association.
  4. Promoting the principles of the Single Market, by means of:
    • Providing support to the commercial sector in its efforts to promote their products, services and opportunities;
    • Providing assistance to the commercial sector to successfully meet and deal with the many challenges ahead;
    • Providing assistance to the commercial sector with expert services, comparative experience and strategic input.
  5. Establishing and building strategic alliances by means of:
    • Implementing joint programmes with partner-organisations;
    • Promoting and improving strategies for joint success.
 

Шести квартален извештај од следењето на процесот на пристапување на Македонија во ЕУ

Македонскиот центар за европско образование (МЦЕО) и Фондацијата Институт отворено општество – Македонија (ФИООМ) го изготвија Шестиот квартален извештај од следењето на процесот на пристапување на Македонија во ЕУ со наслов „За помалку помалку позитивните работи“ кој го покрива периодот април – јули 2010 година.

Sixth Quarterly Accession Watch Report

The Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia (FOSIM) and the Macedonian Centre for European Training (MCET) have prepared the Sixth Quarterly Accession Watch Report titled "About the less less positive things", covering the period from April to July 2010.
